Whether you have just recently installed a new irrigation system or you are getting ready for springtime, the West County Landscaping team can help you get your system up and running for the best performance throughout the season. This thorough inspection and service will help keep your irrigation system operating at its best. Our activation may cost more than some, but our team will take care to perform a thorough visual inspection of your system while we operate each zone to ensure proper operation. We will also review the controller to make sure your system is set up to effectively water your property.
This service is typically scheduled from mid-April to mid-May or after the last risk of freezing and before the hot dry summer kicks in. During the service, we will restore the water pressure to your system and then visually inspect the operation of the entire system. If there is something minor that needs to be adjusted, our technicians will fix them on the spot, and if there is a complex repair of over $100 value, we will consult with you first.
For irrigation system activation, we require that an adult be home at the time of the service to allow access to the control panel (typically located in the garage), and the waterline (typically located in the basement). For this reason, we will let you know when we are coming so you can plan accordingly. Unfortunately, for your safety and for ours, we are unable to enter your property with just a garage code.
Pricing for this service at most properties is $99 plus the cost of materials used for repairs. The activation fee is included as a part of our 3-visit program which includes: activation, backflow prevention device testing and winterization which costs $297 for the whole program.
